The Forge

Our property was once a large dairy farm. The original barn and milkhouse are still here and we had a lot of options for what we could do with the milkhouse but in the end, we decided it was the perfect location for Mark's forge! How many people can say they have a forge in an old milkhouse or that their products were made in a milkhouse?
The location is one of the things that made the milkhouse a good option for the forge. It's a small building with nothing else attached, and it's made out of cinderblock, so if it were to catch on fire, which would be harder to do, nothing else will burn down at the same time.

Mark has improvements he wants to make, including a small addition on the side to give himself more space to work, but for now, it's working for the products we're making. Now when you're purchasing your metal items, you can imagine Mark pounding away in his milkhouse forge!
