Tour Our Weld Shop

Welcome to Joe's domain! This is where our floor registers get made and where the weighted mantle hooks are assembled. Joe also has done several custom weld repair jobs. The shop space that you are about to see is actually fairly new.

The weld shop space has existed pretty much since we moved here but the plan has always been to make it more of a designated area. This is mainly for safety and fire prevention. We lined the walls of this space with metal siding, put a roof up, and then Joe hung a weld curtain around the open sides. Now the sparks are contained and no one can accidentally have their eyes damaged by weld arcs! Which is a very good thing :)

We don't have a lot of photos, it's not the most organized or clean place, but we do have some and a few photos of Joe at work!
